Day 1Day 1 – Welcome to Morocco: Casablanca to Marrakech

Your Moroccan adventure begins as you arrive in Casablanca, where you’ll be met by the Halal Getaways team before travelling south to the vibrant city of Marrakech. Along the way, enjoy your first taste of authentic Moroccan hospitality and cuisine while taking in the changing landscapes that stretch from fertile plains to the foothills of the Atlas Mountains.

After checking into your hotel, the remainder of the evening is yours to relax or take your first stroll through the atmospheric streets of the famous Red City. This is the perfect introduction to a journey that blends Islamic history, rich culture and breathtaking scenery.

Day 2Day 2 – The Red City of Marrakech

Today you’ll discover why Marrakech has captivated travellers for centuries. Explore magnificent palaces, historic madrasas, bustling souks and the iconic Jemaa el-Fna square as you uncover the city’s rich Islamic and Andalusian heritage. With expert guidance throughout the morning and free time to explore in the afternoon, you’ll experience the perfect balance of history, culture and authentic Moroccan life.

Day 3Day 3 – Essaouira: Morocco's Atlantic Jewel

Along the way, visit a traditional women’s Argan Oil Cooperative and witness the famous goats climbing Argan trees before exploring Essaouira’s historic ramparts, picturesque harbour and winding streets. Day 4Day 4 – Across the High Atlas to the Gateway of the Sahara

Today we leave Marrakech behind and embark on one of Morocco’s most spectacular journeys. Crossing the majestic High Atlas Mountains, we’ll travel through dramatic mountain passes, traditional Berber villages and breathtaking landscapes before reaching the legendary Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou.

Discover this UNESCO World Heritage Site, one of Morocco’s finest examples of ancient mudbrick architecture, before continuing through Ouarzazate and the stunning Dades Valley. This is a day where history, culture and nature come together, offering unforgettable scenery at every turn as we make our way towards the edge of the Sahara.

Day 5Day 5 – Into the Heart of the Sahara

Experience one of the most unforgettable days of the journey as we venture into the vast Sahara Desert. Travelling through ever-changing landscapes, we’ll arrive at the towering golden dunes of Erg Chebbi, where an extraordinary desert adventure awaits.

Exchange the coach for 4×4 vehicles before riding camels across the dunes to witness a breathtaking Sahara sunset. As darkness falls, enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner beneath a blanket of stars, accompanied by Berber music around the campfire. Spend the night in a traditional desert camp and experience the peace, beauty and timeless spirit of the Sahara.
